They met on the set of High School Musical! Â It was supposed to the fantasy romance for the ages! Â Oh, cruel world!

You know it’s a good day when you can spend a large chunk of it playing with LEGO. I definitely find that the more you play with LEGO, the greater respect you have for the amazing design behind it. Maybe that’s what inspired this goofy little sketch.

Did I mention that I need to go to bed earlier? Â This is about how I felt while doing tonight’s super-quick sketch before bed.

This was me after getting home from work today. Â I woke up a while later, and did this quick sketch while I still had a sliver of energy. Â I need to start going to bed earlier.

Tried something different this evening — wanted to see if I could do a bunch of different animals in a cohesive style. Â These are just basic characterizations, but it would be interesting to try some other animals or people as well and see how that would work.

Another late night where I didn’t know what to draw. Â This was just a quick sketch based on a photo found online.

It’s been a long time since I last played Pictionary.  So this evening, I decided to grab a card and see if I could draw all five things on it in one sketch.  So, for your viewing pleasure, here’s a 1) Ragged 2) Lawyer 3) Choking on a 4) Pop Tart while on a 5) Maiden Voyage.

Had my grandmother in town for a visit, and we spent the day doing lots of grandma type things (botanical gardens, tea, etc.). Â As enjoyable as it was, at the end I felt like I needed to do something uniquely masculine to balance it all out. Â Unfortunately, there were no grizzly bears around that I could punch in the face, so I had to settle for sketching it.

Saw a bunch of political pundits on TV this evening. Â Such a pointless charade. Â Anyway, this started out based on a photo of James Carville, but as you can see, I pretty much abandoned any effort to make it actually look like him. Â So now it’s just “generic angry bald guy.”
